I was just curious if anyone else was having this issue and if anyone had any idea. That's great, thanks so much, I'm still missing Intune and Azure Information Protection from the Microsoft 365 Business Premium subscription level.

This is a fresh install of windows 10 and office 2016 on a fresh machine so we don't have a way of seeing if it was windows, office or both that are causing this issue. On our administrative account the icons display correctly on the task bar and in file explorer and we are able to pin the app to the task bar. They also cannot pin the apps to the task bar (not sure if this is just an office issue or a wider spread issue).

They reported that their Office 16 icons shows as the broken page icon on the task bar when they have the app open instead of the corresponding app's icon and it does the same in file explorer. They are knowledgeable with Windows and try and solve things themselves before they come to us which is very nice. We are slowly moving towards Windows 10 and we are having an end user test it out on their new machine we installed recently. If the display scaling was the source of the problem, the icons will now appear correctly.Hey all, I have a quick question dealing with Office 16 and Windows 10. In this scenario, the helpdesk can reset the display to 100% DPI scaling, and restart Outlook. If the FileSite icons are completely missing, the generic folder icon is all that you would see. The larger folder icon may appear behind the FileSite icon, looking like a yellow rectangle. The Icon column is enabled by default but could be missing. The non-standard DPI scaling appears to cause the generic folder icons to be a larger size than the FileSite icons. If you use Microsoft 365 (M365) or Office 365 (O365), you should have the new Search box. This problem scenario is specific to the display resolution not being set to 100%. FileSite’s specific icons usually appear on top of the generic icons, and cover them completely. Outlook shows its default folder icons before it loads the FileSite custom ones, and if it cannot load FileSite’s, the yellow ones remain visible. Office 365 app launcher and menu bar icons are blank Cause 3 - An antivirus application prevents the font icons from displaying If neither the Cause 1 nor Cause 2 scenarios help you resolve the missing icons problem, try disabling any installed antivirus application. I’ve seen this error reported in conjunction with the icons in FileSite’s navigation tree. Possible cause: Display scaling not set to a supported percentage If corrupted storage was causing this problem, the icons will now appear correctly. A brief message will appear, saying that the icons are being loaded.
